Frontline's 17 Year History
Darren Kirkham and Darren Wright embarked on their entrepreneurial journey when they established Frontline Exterminating (now Frontline Pest Control) in 2008. Initially operating as a two-person enterprise, they handled all aspects of the business—from customer acquisition through door-to-door sales to service delivery and customer communications.
The company's first expansion came in 2004 with the addition of Regan Wright, who demonstrated exceptional potential for facilitating business growth. Jason Pickett joined the leadership team in 2005, after which the company experienced significant expansion, establishing eight offices across three states.
In 2008, the ownership team discovered an affinity for the DC Metropolitan Area, recognizing it as a market worthy of permanent investment. This strategic pivot led them to divest their existing multi-state operations and concentrate on establishing more offices in Maryland, Virginia, West Virgina, Delaware, and now Tennessee. Frontline has maintained a strong presence in these markets for over a decade while expanding its workforce to include more than 50 full-time professionals.
What began as an entrepreneurial venture has evolved into an organization with people at its core. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining service excellence regardless of growth objectives. Through this unwavering dedication to human capital and service quality, Frontline has established itself as a distinguished provider of pest management solutions within its service territories.

Justin Nichols
Justin serves as our regional director for Maryland operations. His academic credentials from Johns Hopkins University, complemented by his military service in the United States Air Force, have equipped him with exceptional training and expertise that significantly benefit both our organizational capabilities and client outcomes.
Joining Frontline Pest Control in 2010 as a Service Technician, Justin established a solid foundation through hands-on field experience. His commitment to knowledge acquisition and service excellence facilitated his progression through various functional roles across our sales, customer service, and operations departments. This multifaceted professional trajectory has provided him with comprehensive insights into our business model, reinforcing his understanding of the critical importance of delivering superior customer experiences.
Justin maintains multiple specialized licenses across various categories in both Maryland and Virginia jurisdictions.
